In March of 2006, John and Kathy Tucker and their senior staff from the ‘Little Sprouts” program founded “New Hope for Cambodian Children” (NHCC) to continue and expand the assistance for children with HIV/AIDS living in Cambodia. NHCC is a Cambodian non- governmental organization (NGO) registered with the Royal Government of Cambodia. The Mission of New Hope for Cambodian Children (NHCC) is to work with NGOs and the Royal Government of Cambodia to assist children living with HIV/AIDS and their families.

The purpose of the Sok Sabay Shelter and Long Term Education Program is to rescue children from various social hells such as mistreatment, abandonment, rape, torture and slavery and provide an alternative caring and stable living environment in which to grow and learn. By providing them a better medical, educational and living environment the children will be able to start to leave behind the realities of past abuses and look to the future in a more positive way.
